General booking conditions

The website and the accommodations offered by Villa Magarà are managed by the company Costa Sicania srl with registered office in Via Monsignor Castelli n.16 90015 Cefalù (PA) P. I.V.A. 11461470152 C.F. 00118480821, CIR: 19082027C213032. These general conditions are an integral part of the contract stipulated with Costa Sicania srl.

Booking and conclusion of the contract

The stipulation of the contract with Villa Magarà takes place by making a reservation by verbal, written (including e-mail) or electronic (including internet). By booking an apartment you accept the booking conditions without any exceptions or reservations.

Services and prices

Unless otherwise specified, the published prices are intended as daily prices for the rental of the entire accommodation.
Unless otherwise indicated, the costs of the tourist taxes are not included in the price and must be paid locally, in cash. Any additional services requested by the customer (such as additional cleaning, extra linen change, etc.) must be agreed and paid for on site.

Terms of payment

In order to confirm the reservation, payment of the total amount is required for non-refundable rates, while for standard rates, a deposit equal to 40% of the agreed amount for the rental to be paid by credit card (Visa or Mastercard) providing your card number to the company or online payment service (Paypal) or bank transfer or postal order. This deposit must be paid no later than 5 days from the date of booking. In case of delays in the time required for payment, Villa Magarà reserves the right to withhold the reservation as void.
The balance must be paid on site, at the time of delivery of the keys, by credit card (Visa or Mastercard) or online payment service (Paypal) or cash (if the total amount of the lease is equal to and not exceeding 999 euros, 99 according to current legislation).

Changes

In the event that the customer intends to change the confirmed reservation, he must make it known as soon as possible to the staff of Villa Magarà, who, where possible, will take action to apply these changes. In the event that Villa Magarà is unable to apply these changes and the customer is unable to comply with the terms, the reservation will be canceled and the customer will be required to pay the cancellation costs.

Cancellation costs

The guest can cancel his reservation with the standard rate in the following ways:

– up to 15 days before the start of the lease: free cancellation;

– from 14 days to 7 days before the start of the lease: penalty of 40% on the stay fee;

– from 6 days up to 1 day before or on the day of arrival: 100% penalty on the stay fee.

Any cancellation must necessarily be communicated in writing. We regret that we cannot make exceptions for cancellation charges, for any reason, including personal emergencies.

For non-refundable rates, the penalty is always 100% on the stay fee.

Departures and arrivals

The delivery of the keys will take place from 14:00 to 22:00 at the Villa Magarà structure in Contrada Kalura, provincial road 136 n.52 in Cefalù (PA). For arrivals after 22.00 a surcharge of € 15.00 will be applied. The accommodations must be left no later than 10:00 am on the day of departure, if the guest does not respect this time, the cost of an extra night will be charged or, if this causes a disservice to the next customer, the damage will be charged. that the Company will suffer from any cancellation by the latter. Any changes to the time of arrival and departure must be communicated and agreed with the structure. In case of delay not communicated, the structure declines all responsibility. In the event that the customer is unable to occupy the apartment starting from the scheduled day or time due to problems occurring during the trip, traffic, strikes, or for personal reasons, there is no refund. The same rule also applies in case of early departures. During the high season there may be longer waiting times for the delivery of the keys.

Residence rules and obligations of the tenant

Occupation capacity.

The occupation of the apartment is limited to the number of people indicated on the booking form (including children and babies). Exceeding persons will be prohibited from entering and, in the event of non-compliance, the Company will be able to proceed with the immediate collection of the keys during the stay, without having to pay any refreshments to the Guest.

Behavior and responsibility.

The tenant undertakes to occupy the accommodation diligently, respecting all the rules of good neighborliness. Any damage caused by the tenant or other occupants must be reported immediately. The tenant is responsible for any damage caused by himself or by the other occupants. The cost of the damage is therefore borne by the tenant.

Silent hours: Behavior, noisy activities and the use of equipment that disturb the guests of the complex must be avoided at any time. Please keep quiet even in the corridors and stairs.

No smoking: the smoking ban in the rooms and common areas must be respected.

Damage, smudging, loss of keys: in the event of damage or soiling of the building or inventory or loss of keys, the damage caused is paid for by the person who procured it. Payments of this type must be made immediately and in cash (in the case of groups the companion, possibly in substitution of the organizer, is required to advance the sum). Intentional theft or damage is reported immediately.
In the event of non-compliance with one or more of the above rules, Costa Sicania srl reserves the right to terminate the accommodation contract at any time. The guest remains obliged to pay for the stay for the entire booked period.

Waste: In the area adjacent to the houses you will find bins for separate waste collection, we remind you to use only biodegradable bags.

Dog owners must not leave the animal at home, they must always carry the dog on a leash and must always be equipped with a bag and a shovel for their animals’ excrement.

Complaints.

The tenant, upon delivery of the room, is required to check all the equipment and to report any malfunctions or deficiencies to the structure within 12 hours of delivery of the same, any complaint received after and at the end of the stay will not be taken into consideration.

Responsibilities attributable to Villa Magarà

If, for reasons beyond its control, or due to force majeure, Villa Magarà cannot make the booked property available, a property with similar characteristics will be assigned to the tenant, subject to his approval. In the event that the above is not possible, Villa Magarà will be obliged to cancel the booking and refund the amount paid to the tenant and the latter will not be entitled to any further compensation. Villa Magarà is relieved of any responsibility for any shortages of effects and valuables or money of the tenant, kept in the rented accommodation. The tenant releases Villa Magarà from any responsibility for damage to persons or things that may occur during the stay.

Privacy

Pursuant to and for the purposes of Law No. 196/2003 on the “Code regarding the protection of personal data”, we inform you that the personal data entered in the booking form will be processed by the company Costa Sicania srl in compliance with this law, only and exclusively for the purposes related to the rendering of the booking service and possible sending of offers by e-mail. The submission of the deposit expresses the customer’s acceptance of the processing of personal data contained in the form for the purposes set out above. The customer declares to have taken full knowledge of all the above conditions of contract and to fully and unconditionally approve them.

Jurisdiction

The relationship between the client and Villa Magarà is governed by Italian law. For any dispute related to this contract, the Court of Termini Imerese (PA) will be exclusively competent.
